Why is it that in the west men are getting more and more effiminate whereas women are getting more and more masculine.?

The definition of masculine and feminine changes with time just like the definition of beauty.

At one time in history skinny women were seen as ugly and undesirable. Large women were beautiful, feminine, and had wide hips and volumptuous breasts optimal for child birthing.

Today, stick-figure anorexia is considered beautiful and fat any where on the female body is ugly.

In the 70's and 80's the masculine "macho" male was considered desirable. But as the glass ceiling broke and women were able to earn as much or more money than men being macho was no longer a competitive advantage for the alpha male. Men who are emotionally equipped to fulfill non-traditional male roles, like helping out with the kids and doing house work, are more disirable to women now. Evolve or perish.

Natural selection. High testosterone males are more likely to engage in risky behavior that gets them killed. Due to feminism, it pays for women to be assertive/masculine.

Bcuz females get pregnant, they are more serious, responsible. Males like to be...boys, toys for boys, never grow up, watch TV,

go to pubs, do drugs...not all, but...a lot. Women don't have those options, might not want them
