All real numbers except x = 0.
If you meant g(x) = (x + 7)/(x^2 - 36) or x + 7/(x^2 - 36), then all real numbers except x = 6 and x = -6.

First responder's answer is wrong no matter how your question is interpreted. The interpretation you intended was probably
g(x) = (x+7)/(x^2 - 36), whose domain is (-inf,-6)U(-6,6)U(6,+inf).
The literal interpretation of what you typed is
g(x) = x + (7/x^2) - 36, whose domain is (-inf,0)U(0,+inf).
The reason why you needed to put in parentheses is that you eliminated a horizontal fraction-bar, which is itself a symbol of inclusion.
