This was a tough choice for Best Answer, because most of you got the essentials down.

Jael, a woman married to a nomad (Heber, a Kenite, or non-Israeli) living in Israel, did this. Israel was at war with a local king (Jabin); Jabin's general was Sisera. They had a military advantage over Israel, since they were using iron war chariots, and expected an easy victory.
When the armies of Israel and Jabin met for their final battle, they met on a particular plain, which had a small creek running through it. The battle was complicated by a sudden thunderstorm, which flooded the creek and rendered the iron chariots useless in the mud. King Jabin's forces were routed, and General Sisera fled on foot.
Running away from the rout, he came onto Heber's campsite. Apparently Heber was not at home, but Jael, Haber's wife, let him into her tent to hide and gave him some milk to drink. He soon passed out from exhaustion. Jael then nailed his head to the ground with a tent spike, killing the Israelite's enemy. In doing this, she fulfilled a very recent prophecy: that General Sisera would not fall by the hands of anyone in the Israelite army, but would be killed by a woman.
Judges Chapter 4.

It was Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, who drove a tent peg through the temple of Sisera, the commander of King Jabin's army. It fulfilled Deborah's prophecy to Barak that the God of Israel would defeat Jabin's army. The moment when Jael killed Sisera was the moment that Israel became stronger and stronger against King Jabin of Canaan until he was finally destroyed.

"And Ja′el the wife of He′ber proceeded to take a pin of the tent and to put the hammer into her hand. Then she went to him stealthily and drove the pin into his temples and beat it into the earth, while he was fast asleep and weary. So he died" (Judges 4:21. Bible)..

That was Jael, and if I remember correctly, because he was the general of the enemy army.
Lol, I wrote Deborah at first, but that was wrong, Deborah was one of the generals who defeated him.
