if something cost £89.99, and being sold for £29.99, could you please show me the working out, for the percentage.?

    [(change)/original] x 100

    so, [(89.99 - 29.99)/89.99] x 100

    => (60.00/89.99) x 100

    i.e. 66.7% loss

    NOTE: 29.99/89.99 => 33.3%

    so, 66.7% loss => 33.3% remains
