Can drug dogs smell lorazepam?
I'm not taking them for recreational use, I have generalized anxiety disorder and in two days, I'm going to grad night to Disney land and my school said they would have dogs smell our things before we got on the bus to go in case of people sneaking in drugs, but do you think I'll get in trouble for lorazepam? Do you think the dogs would smell it if I took it?

Probably not but take the pills in the original prescription bottle so they will know it's OK for you to have them.

Yep, probably. You might ask your doctor for a note to take with you, specifically describing the medication and the fact that you have legal authority to use it.
Keep in mind they can still deny you access, so you may want to have your parents contact the school before the event and smooth things over with them. Since school officials are not medical professionals, they could just as easily as not tell you to go home, even if you were on your meds on doctor's orders. It would be better to deal with this through the school nurse and principal, so the people at the door knew if they were authorized to allow you to enter, and also to notify the police in advance.
Deal with this up front, and they will have a chance to discuss it. Don't leave to chance or to be handled at the door without notice, because it could make the difference between you having the nice time you deserve, or being sent home all dressed up.

Dogs can only identify compounds they were trained to find.
