Auto insurance with no credit?

I'm planning out buying a new car but I can't seem to figure out how much insurance would be each month. I am 18, have a full time job (600+/week), no credit history, no tickets, never been pulled over. I want to buy a Toyota Tacoma and I'm willing to spend 13k if that matters. I've had my license 1 1/2 years. No criminal records either. I also live in mass. Any idea how much I would be paying? I don't know much about insurance

Mass. has some funky laws. The first thing you need to do is establish a credit history. Get a gasoline charge card. Use it and pay it off every month. After a year apply for a visa card or some such. Build on that-PAY the balance every month-one missed month and it will kill your credit history as a new account holder.

Because you are 18, insurance will be higher than most. If you are female, it will be a bit lower that a guys.

Contact several different brokers, ask for quotes.

You need to do a good deal of learning about car insurance, what it costs, and what it does, and doesn't cover.

You must have liability insurance on any car you won in order to legally drive it one inch. If the car has value, then it would be smart to have collision and comprehensive coverage, so that if the car suffers significant damage or is written off, you would get up to it's it's current value, with which to go buy your next car.

Given your low age and short driving history, your insurance costs will be expensive. You had better get some quotes, based on likely cars you wish to buy, before you buy a car. It wouldn't be fun to only learn after you bought the car that you cannot afford to insure it...

Ask a local insurance agent to give you a quote and if it is a good price have him pre approve you so you can call when you buy the car and give him the VIN#. You my need a co signer on the loan for the car since you have limited credit history. Good Luck

It's easy to get an answer to your question. Simply call a few insurance companies, tell them what kind of car you want to buy, and give them some personal information -- and they will tell you EXACTLY what you'll pay. Ask at a number of different companies because rates vary from company to company for the same car, same person.

Good shopping for Tacomas. Make note of the truck's VIN. Call an insurer, they can give you an insurance cost quote within minutes.

Only calling several ins co will tell you . Also a car on a loan requires "full" ins coverage not sure if that is in your budget.
