What did the Romans actually do in the Bible?

Question is as simple as it sounds I ve never actually read the Bible but from what I understand people back then tended to be afraid of the Romans. Are they the ones who put Jesus on the Crucifix?

The story within the pages of the bible says that Jesus upset the Jewish money changers in the market by explaining to the common folk that they were being taken advantage of and ripped off by the Jews.

The Jews were a great source of income for the Romans, so they ordered the Romans to Kill Jesus, as a means of eliminating dissention from Christians against Jewish money changers.

The crucifixion of Jesus was strictly a political and business action to protect Jewish profits. Judas was responsible for turning Jesus into the Romans. The details are foggy after that and we have Easter....Whee!

I didn't read the bible, but in fact Romans weren't as bad as they are portraied by Christians. They were agressive military force, but they were kind towards their citizens. Christians were breaking all the laws, and that's why Romans were going after them

The same as they did in history books. Conquered and oppressed.

Yes. The Romans physically put him on the cross, but it was the Jewish religions leaders who provoked them to it.

They invented the word "actually" so that it could be overused in modern times.
