Why did the Watchtower Society create their own bible?
Is it because they wanted God's word to fit with their preconceived beliefs such as altering verses that speak of Jesus being God and man, or dying on the cross?
One example is John 1:1. The original Greek text reads, “the Word was God.” The NWT renders it as “the word was a god.”

Have Jehovah’s
Witnesses Changed the Bible to Fit Their Beliefs?
No, we haven’t. On the contrary, when we have discovered that our beliefs were not completely in line with the Bible, we have changed our beliefs.
Long before we started producing the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures in 1950, we examined the Bible.
We used whatever translation was available and formed our beliefs accordingly.
Consider a few examples of long-standing beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and decide for yourself whether they match what the Bible really teaches.
What we believe: God is not a Trinity. The July 1882 issue of Zion’s Watch Tower said: “Our readers are aware that while we believe in Jehovah and Jesus, and the holy Spirit, we reject as totally unscriptural, the teaching that these are three Gods in one person or, as some put it, one God in three persons.”
What the Bible says: “Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.” Deuteronomy 6:4
The Holy Bible, by Robert Young “There is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” 1 Corinthians 8:6, American Bible Union Version
Jesus himself stated: “The Father is greater than I.” John 14:28, Douay-Rheims Version.
What we believe: There is no eternal torment in a fiery hell. Quoting from Romans 6:23 in the King James Version, Zion’s Watch Tower entitled its issue of June 1882
“The Wages of Sin Is Death,” stating: “How clear and simple is this statement.
How strange it is that so many who profess to receive the Bible as the Word of God persist in contradicting this positive statement, and affirm that they believe, and that the Bible teaches, that the wages of sin is everlasting life in torment.”
What the Bible says: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4, 20, King James Version
The final punishment for those who oppose God is, not eternal torment, but “everlasting destruction.” 2 Thessalonians 1:9, King James Version.
What we believe: God’s Kingdom is a real government, not just a condition of the heart.
Regarding God’s Kingdom, the December 1881 issue of Zion’s Watch Tower said: “The setting up of this kingdom will, of course, involve the overthrow of all the kingdoms of earth.”
What the Bible says: “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” Daniel 2:44, King James Version.

The only greek word for God or god = Theos
This is how it is written------ In the beginning the Logos(word) was and the word was with ( ho) Theos, and the word was Theos.
Ho Theos= The true almighty God-- plain Theos = god small g--carries the biblical meaning--has godlike qualities---because Gods power went through Jesus (Acts 2:22)( it was not Jesus' power)
Its an impossibility for God to be with God when its clear there is only 1 God
other translations in history put a small g there as well--it is correct.
Jesus has a God--John 20:17, Rev 3:12--- it takes believing Jesus over mens dogmas--Few will, that is why Few find the road that leads to life( eternal)

Most religions find or create a text that conforms to their views, nothing unusual about that.

Why did the Watchtower Society create their own bible? Free-masons did.
True Bible is translated by theologians, not by free-masons.
Christ is risen, my joy! [Seraphim of Sarov]
Christ's Resurrection was on April the 12th, 2015 (by Pope's calendar). Pope celebrated April 5th,2015 (by Pope's calendar). Jewish Passover was from April 3rd until April 11th, 2015 (Pope's calendar).
I celebrate "(Orthodox) Christ's Resurrection (Pascha)". Do you know what happened to Arius for preaching against the truth?
His intestines fell out.
1st day celebrates Resurrection.
7th day celebrates Creation.
Resurrection > Creation. Resurrection should always be celebrated after Jewish Passover.
Christ was resurrected on April 1st.
That's why Jews came up with April fool's day to discredit it. John the Baptist was beheaded on 9/11.
That's why the Twins were "pulled" on 911.
Holy Tradition of Orthodox Church says that Christmas is on 25th of January by old calendar.
Pope moved the calendar.
Orthodox celebrate on 7th of January (Pope's calendar),
but 25 by Old Calendar (Orthodox Church's calendar).
Jesus created the world in March.
March = 1
April = 2
May = 3
June = 4
July = 5
Aug = 6
Sept = 7
Oct = 8
Nov = 9
Dec = 10
Jesus incarnated in March.
Add 9 months.
And you get Christmas date.
Pope is a heretic. Don't follow him.
Ecumenism has 263 heresies.
Each heresy leads to hell.
Jesus said that you have to drink His blood.
All people have soul, body, and spirit.
In animals, blood substitutes soul.
That's why you're forbidden to drink animal blood.
Animals don't have spirit.
You're forbidden to drink human blood (like during blood transfusion) because sins transfer.
You're told to drink blood of Jesus (because He's sinless) so that your sins are forgiven.
Dogs are not allowed in your home and your church because the Holy Spirit will leave.
One can receive mark of the beast because of cats; so, stay away from cats.
Give to charity in the name of Archangel Michael; he rescues people from hell twice a year (or brings them up a level, that is, to a level with less punishment; eventually, people are freed). Feed the pigeons; when pigeons bow down, people are saved from hell.
JW's messiah is Yosef who was crucified on a pole in 1066.
JW's leaders are Freemasons. Freemasonry was created by Sionists.
JW's await a king aka antichrist. Why? Because Jesus will come back to end the flying antichrist's rule when this antichrist conceives a thought in his evil mind that he 666-isotope-ray-lasered everyone.
So, when antichrist comes (in a few years), JW's will welcome him. 666 is not forgivable; it leads to permanent hell. 666 is given with World Passport with no name on it (grey plastic card). Police 666 people on highways. Food stores and prisoners 666 people too. Reject vaccines. Don't go into UFO to be healed by demons. Hide with Orthodox Christians to escape 666; leave all electronics behind. Forgive me.
NOTE: JESUS WAS NOT CRUCIFIED ON A POLE ! ! ! ! ! ! !
FOUR NAILS!
Jesus is 176 cm tall!
Since antichrist (born to a 12th generation prostitute, flying, big-nailed, gloved, pale-faced, red-eyed, Satan-possessed since he's 12 years old, homosexual man from the tribe of Dan, who wears blue robe over left shoulder while red/pink robe is underneath just like Jesus, and is surrounded by demons but people see angels of light) is around, there is no need for disputes.
According to Russian Orthodox Christian Vyatcheslav Krasheninnikov: Humans were created about 7525 years ago. Birds participate in time creation. It's a sin to kill birds. Dinosaurs live under our level. They will get out through sinkholes and lakes. To kill them, go for their nerves. Save the birds; but kill the dinosaurs. First dinosaur will come out of Volga River in Russia.
Again, forgive me.
