Correctional Cadet?

I am going to be a correctional officer and before you go to training you are a cadet at the prison.

I have a 8 hour shift Monday threw Friday .

What all I will be doing ? What would my typical day be like ? Thanks

    If it is like the "cadets" we had in the FDNY. You'll be shadowing a senior C.O. Learning how to do the job.

    Note- The "cadet" program was cancelled after a cadet thought it was wise to take a engine out for a spin.
