Wait, I have no problem with people who fly the Confederate flag, but shouldn't it be taken off PUBLIC buildings and areas?

The only flags that should be flown on public property are the US flag and states'.

It's same reason why we shouldn't fly a Muslim or Christian flag.

It doesn't matter if it represents southern culture, we're a unified country and only the stars and stripes should be flying.

If the people of that state, or city in some cases are OK with flying that flag, who am I to tell them that they can't? The federal government can't tell states not to fly it, and states can't tell charter cities not to fly it either. Since the flag has no official status, it probably shouldn't be flown in front of government buildings, but I'm not going to tell people in other states and cities what to do.

Now, this is an argument that at least has some merit, unlike China's mewlings, who's still squalling on in a desperate, futile attempt to appear better than others.

I still say it's up to the states. If the citizens of states choose to boot it from public buildings, they are welcome to pressure their respective governments to do so.

The Democrats are trying to bait Conservatives into a Confederate Flag debate so they can stir up more propaganda before an election. They are retarded.

It should be in a museum or destroyed. People need to decide.
