You can use your regular laundry detergent, there is no need to do anything different other than washing the sheets in hot water and drying them on high heat. Also be sure to vacuum thoroughly, including upholstered couches/chairs where lice may have crawled from someone's head. As long as you use an effective treatment on whoever has lice (NOT the usual store brands because lice today have built up a resistance) and you or a professional comb, comb, comb daily with a fine toothed metal comb to get all the nits (eggs), you should be all set. Good luck, I know what a nuisance lice can be!

Any detergent that they sell in the store will get your sheets clean. You need to use hot water, and do a lot of other head and body cleaning to get rid of lice. Keep at it, and go buy a lice comb and shampoo.
