You already know baby but you're forcing me to answer lol..

I remember listening to 50 Cent and other popular artists like Tupac, Biggie, Nelly and Snoop Dogg from my mama and artists like OutKast, Common and Nas from my dad because he enjoyed the jazzy sound. I think the first artist/song I heard was Roses by OutKast though..Wu Tang was the first act I discovered by myself if I'm correct..I have been around Hip Hop my whole life but I ain't start getting into it until 2006 when I was 7-8..Nas was the first artist that I listened to consistently and I've been a huge fan of him since. My GOAT has only changed 3 times..First was Pac, than Biggie and Nas has been GOAT for several years and I highly doubt that ever changes barring someone like Jay Z dropping another classic album. Good question baby girl(:

First rap song I heard and LIKED was Chicken Head by Project Pat, I was also really into Eminem, Tupac, and Triple 6 Mafia.

I actually kinda grew up listening to rap at 6. E40, Ice Cube, Tupac, and SPM are the rappers who got me into rap. The sound, beat and everything together just sounded beautiful and well constructed.

BQ: I listen to what the fvck I want and if someone doesn't like it they can go drink toilet water.

  • Linkin Park was my first favorite band too, then I heard some of the mash-ups they did with Jay-Z and I ended up liking some of his songs (99 Problems was the first rap song I liked; still one of the best too) . I still mostly listened to alternative rock until I got into Eminem, Drake and Kanye in my first year of high school. Since then it's been hip hop for the most part, although I've been getting into some new stuff now thanks to Spotify.

lol @ MGK though King really saved you there

BQ: None really since I'm pretty open about what I listen to. I wouldn't play Chief Keef in front of my mommy though.

I was in fifth grade (11 years old) and everyone was starting to listen to it and me being the pre-teen who wanted to fit in with everything, I started to listen to rap. Some of my first favorite rappers were, Chamillionare, Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Drake, Ace Hood etc. and I would listen to those guys all the time during the summer right before I got into middle school. Then weeks after being in school, I did some internet searching and I discovered Bone Thugs, and I soon fell in love with the older hip hop sound and I still am today. Ever since I listened to them I've gone into multiple rap phases in about the last five years or so. During my early middle school days, I was in this Gangsta Rap/G Funk phase where my favorite rappers were, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, Bone Thugs, 50 Cent, and strictly stuff from that time period. About half way through middle school, I soon discovered guys like, Nas, OutKast, Big L, and Big Pun and right after that, I got in this huge 90's east coast era phase. I remember at one point my top 5 was, Nas, Big L, Rakim, Big Pun, and Andre 3000. So for a brief period of time, I fvcked with those guys heavily. Then by the time I was graduating middle school, I got into this HUGE 80's hip hop/ and underground phase that I also went through my entire year of freshman year of high school (last year) and some guys who were in my GOAT list were, Rakim, G Rap, Kane, KRS, K-Rino, Diabolic, etc. and then coming into last summer, I discovered a hip hop band who go by, The Roots thanks to a duo called Black Star and as soon as I discovered them, I feel in love with the jazz/boom bap sound of hip hop and a year later, I am a HUGE fan of jazz/boom bap hip hop.

Btw, MGK is probably the worst rapper of all time next to ICP. Salute to King for waking you up.

BQ1: Not really any I can think of tbh.

It was the trend of the moment and me, and everybody else, had our Italian MGK's in our ears 24/7. Then, while everybody kept on listening to those b¡tc#3$, I got to listen to Eminem. I only knew the hits, but I was like "**** y'all, Eminem >>>>>>>>>> your corny a$$ f@gg0t$". Then I've listened to his whole albums and that was the first time I became a "fan". Then, with the desire of knowing more about hip hop, I searched for something on the Internet and I found out Nas, the man that immediately became my favorite and, even though he's not the #1 on my list, I still love him. Then I found out the Wu-Tang. Searching for "Wu-Tang Clan" on Y!A, I found a bunch of questions "Wu-Tang Clan v. Public Enemy" and I found out PE. And the story goes on this way.

BQ: Not really anybody anymore, but I think a few months ago I would have been ashamed to tell people I like Drake and Big Sean, for example. Now, I'm way more open minded in music, and I listen to whatever I like. "No Type" by Rae Sremmurd is one of my favorite songs of the year, for example.

I believe its the beat. I don't like rap at all but I think the beat and rhythms is hypnotizing.

Cause I can't sing and I love to rhyme.
