Watch the little out of pocket expenses. Coffee, soft drinks, eating out can easily add up to hundreds per month.

A 2nd job would also help a lot. Even 8-12 hours per week would cover your car payment.

Delivering pizza on weekends or, if you don't want to drive, they always need weekend help inside.

When I ran a pizza hut, I had a few girls who would ONLY work Friday & Saturday nights for 4-6 hours each.

That was before delivery. They waited tables.

Also do you REALLY have to have an expensive cell phone plan ?

I pay $10 a year for emergency usage. For lots of people, their phone is $500-700 a year.

Cut out cable TV. Netflix at $7.99 gives you plenty to watch. Or I guess $8.99 if you don't already have it.

No Starbucks. Make your coffee at home.

Read the grocery ads and plan accordingly. Eat what's on sale.

Pack your own meals for work...no restaurants.

Evaluate your subscription services...cell phone plan, cable, internet, Netflix, blah blah blah...are you paying for crap you don't need/use?

Have game nights at home. Don't go bar crawling or to clubs/shows.

Do your errands on the way home so that you can save gas.

Some things you can do to increase income:

    Take in a lodger

    Get a second job.

forget the monitor device for vehicle insurance ; instead get online quotes from several agencies.........you may be surprised at the results + if you combine home insurance with auto insurance, you will get a discount
