Am I pregnant? Or am I infertile? PLEASE HELP?
Hey. I've been having weird symptoms this last week! I came off the implant 3 months ago and my cycle has went straight back to normal! This week I was meant to ovulate but the CM and position didn't seem to indicate that. Instead now when I'm around 6dpo my cervix is high closed and doesn't feel hard or softest sorta medium! Also the last few days I've been getting stabbing pains during sex! Even if we take it slow ! Could I be pregnant or something else? :(

While it's not impossible for someone so young to be infertile it's highly unlikely. However birth control is a hormone and it takes time for the body to get used to it's natural self while your cycle may seem normal it may not be internally. Ovulation doesn't always come with your previous symptoms like changes in cervical mucus. The change could be so slight you don't notice because you previously used birth control. It may take time for your body to get back into the swing of things to tell itself to ovulate regularly. If you're trying to get pregnant the smart thing to do would be to buy and ovulation predictor kit so you know just when you are ovulating. That way there is no guessing and you will also be able to tell if you are ovulating as well. If you go without ovulating than it would be something to talk to your doctor about because you may need a little help getting started again.
Ovulation can be off some months but definitely doesn't mean you're infertile and pain during sex doesn't mean you're infertile either. Pain during sexual intercourse can be caused by a few things, you could not be well lubricated causing a friction rubbing sensation that is very painful. You could be positioned wrong and there could be inflammation from an upcoming ovulation making you sensitive. You could have a small cyst resulting in discomfort. Minor discomfort once in awhile is fine if it continues for more than a few weeks of just continuous pain during intercourse I would see your oBGYN

Until you try for a year and a half, no doctor will even consider infertility testing. Do you really want to spend a minimum of $13,000 on invasive tests because you haven't gotten pregnant in 3 months???
