Work experience tomorrow... Help!!!?

Could I wear a pencil skirt to work? I'm working in Wilko's, would they allow me or is it just trousers?

    Wear what most of the employees in the same position wear. Being too dressy will only make others dislike you and that is never a good idea for a newcomer to any position.

    I don't see what would be wrong with a pencil skirt as long as it's black and looks professional

    Sure! As long as it's smart. Trousers might me more practical though.
