Is being "born again" like taking an oath?

When I was 11 my religious grandmother forced me to be "saved by Christ". 4 years later I am a Pastafarian. Did I break an oath of some sort by converting, I'm not converting again if I have.

Update:

My question doesn't deserve an answer? And yet you gave it one

It's not so much an oath as it is a path that you don't know much about, but you take it anyway.

You were forced, so your promise to believe wasn't real. Shame on your grandma for forcing your. Faith is to be a personal journey. Not forced.
