Geography of Hell (for fiction)?

I'm looking for a list of as many specific locations as you can think of to be contained within Hell. Examples would be Purgatory, Tartarus, etc. Please nothing you made up.

i spell tartarus T ar Ter oos. Paul is said to have used it once in the currect new testament. Purgatory seems to be an invented idea that is actually a place but mixxed with too much imaginations.

physically, i tell people to ponder what the Sun is? if one looks in the sky, its a Lake of fire. is it the same as what John the beloved spoke of in his apocalypse? idk. but there are 4 types of hell listed in the bible. new testament. and other words that describe what hell must be like . using words like sheol . we know john spoke of a lake of fire and described it as a second death. and both john and Jesus spoke of an outer darkness. and it is written in the book of Peter that there is a spirit Prison, which might be the same thing described in the story of jonah. but then again, it might be more of a place that exists as a different spiritual realm other than tarterus and gehenna or sheol.

The book of revelation also speaks of being in torment in the presense of angels. so there is a mental torment among people that might resurrected. even in teh kingdom of God.

i think when we die, there are only two places we can go, spirit prison or paradise. paradise cannot be heaven because one needs to be born again

personally, i have seen two different kins of "darkness" and one type of a lake of fire, where there was a sheen and fire in the background.

JWs say that death is only darkness. THEY are wrong to conclude that sheol is only the grave, because of the story of Jonah, who seemed to die in the belly and cried out to the lord from a spiritual sheol. its about context.

Is hell only the imagination and invention of men! No, it is written that God prepared a place for the devil and his angels and to which the sons of perdition and others will end up with Him in their misery.

outer darkness could be the outer rims of the galaxy when speaking of eternal resurrection, or it could something on the horizon event. but even this is imagination. or is it?

When non believers die they start to sink into the earth because they no longer have any foundation on anything . And when they get to where the rocks melt and smell of sulfer they stop , and decide to believe at least a little in God .

    They are ALL made up...

Why not make up some more... it's all only fiction...

BTW, don't forget Chibulba.. if I spelled that right... LOL

There are probably as many 'hells' as there are 'heavens'.... 8^)

    IMHO

I've heard of the seven circles of Hell, but I' m not sure what that means.

Heaven and Hell have no "location" as we generally understand that term, because "location" requires space. Heaven and Hell exist outside of the physical universe, therefore outside of time and space. Time and space, along with matter and energy, will eventually cease to exist, but Heaven and Hell are forever. They are better understood as "modes of existence" rather than "places".

  • no mortal possesses that knowledge.... any one claiming to is either lying or delusional... any description of hell you will find is an invention of the imagination of man
