Im more of a chevy/gmc guy myself but I've never heard anything bad about toyota. i guess it all depends on the price, what features it has to offer, what your dealerships have to offer for either vehicle, and personal preference on if you're more of a domestic guy or an import guy. i personally don't think you need a brand new truck to have a reliable vehicle. all the vehicles in shops these days are either fairly new or brand new. some 94-98 chevys can run up to a 600,000 miles
