I want to get into PC gaming for the cheapest cost and the highest longevity. What should I buy?

I want to play PC games without a technical problem for as long as I can without a steep cost. I want to stay around $150 if possible.

    You won't even get a great normal web-browsing laptop with that price. I'm pretty sure you could get into PC gaming at a budget around $300. But, if you can you count get a cheap Windows tablet for $100-$200 and it could at least run Steam and some less intensive games on it. At your budget i would recommend that option.
