Would life be better without gods? I'd prefer to die as a martyr for Christ. Ecumenism (one world religion) has 263 heresies. Each heresy leads to hell. Heresy leads to loss of love. Antichrist will go after believers. WW3 happens. 7% of people are left. Antichrist will say that religion causes wars. Atheists will agree. Then antichrist (Billy from Saw movie) will abolish all religions, but then will demand worship. Confess sins. Drink blood of Jesus and eat body of Jesus in Orthodox Church. Don't repeat sins. Reject new documents and vaccines. Don't go into a UFO to be healed by demons. Give to charity in the name of Archangel Michael and feed the pigeons to rescue people from hell. Forgive me.

No. They are excellent companions, lead the blind, provide an invaluable service locating people in such disasters as building collapse, avalanche and lost children. Bloodhounds are top notch trackers as depicted, stereo typically, in movies (in actuality they are quite gentile). They are one of the best ways to keep away burglars and outdoor pests such as deer, raccoons and skunks and are still in some places and conditions, the best way to move a sled - therefore essential goods and personnel - around.

There is no God. If you can't find meaning in your life without an imaginary friend, that's your problem....

Without the Abrahamic gods certainly. I happen to like my Celtic gods, they never bother anyone, condemn anyone to 'hell', etc.

There are no "gods" - but without "God" there is no life.
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The Stoics thought so. Christians agreed with them.
