If I run a game that doesn't meet the minimum requirements of my computer, will my computer get damaged?

No. Three things are possible:
1) The game won't run at all. Usually this is down to hardware or software that's too old.
2) The game will run but the framerate will be too low to enjoy playing it. This is more typical with recent-ish but low performance hardware.
3) The game will actually run fine. This happens when the "minimum requirement" listed is actually better than the real minimum and is quite common.

depends on what game u are talking about and If the game doesnt meet the system requirements then it will either be very laggy(if ur gpu is poor/weak or not powerfull enough). And RAM and your GPU are both pretty important to gaming. If you have a good CPU and a decent amount of memory but if your CPU have a integrated graphics then chances are that your game will not run very well(high demanding game will not run on intel GMA/HD but old game will).if you have a good dedicated gpu or amount of memory..like 2 or 3/4GB will be sufficient (512MB or 1GB isnt good gaming right now but in high-end cards with more VRAM affects FPS/RENDERING/BUFFERING etc when displaying on huge resolution such as 768p/900p/1080p or higher res monitors)..
RAM is used to be able to run many programs and game at the same time without stressing the CPU or GPU.
>For gaming 8GB or 16GB of RAM is more than sufficient.

It just the game will not run right might experience bsod and some lagging is when you know not to continue playing the game before some damage will occur to the hdd or gpu

Not at all, it's completely safe to try, but the game may not run at all. Though it is possible to overheat your components.
