Is there a difference between menstrul blood and normal blood?
The thought of period blood grosses me out

It's a combination of all the cells and tissue from your uterus as well as blood. Sometimes you will get little clots of blood too. You would be surprised at how well people cope with periods who have blood phobias. Where as if you cut yourself you may freak, periods not so much as its more natural if that makes sense. What you could do is wear tampons as that will limit your exposure to seeing the blood, but only when your comfortable with them. Good luck

Menstrual blood isn't actually blood. Its the endometrial lining of the uterus. It is very much like blood, because the body uses blood to make that lining.

Yes. There is. Menstrual blood is a compilation of menstrual tissue and blood. it is made up of the monthly lining of the uterus .
