Wanted to know where I stand in America.?
I am 33 married no kids,
Own a house over sea (~$200k)
Annual salary is ~$70k
Bank ~$180k
All other liquid asset ~$15k
Where do I stand in America? Low Middle class?
I do not have 401k or any type of savings toward my retirement,
I thought having cash is easier for me to play what I want to do, ie open high-yield saving or invest in something.
Thanks for a good point Rob, yes Indeed, that house oversea gives me a headache since I can't just sell it and transfer the cash. not that easy =( it was inherited from my generous grandparents.

Technically the house "over sea" doesn't matter.
as for income and savings - puts u in wealthy top 10% bracket Not middle anything.

I looked over PayScale.com's career news blog (see http://bitly.com/1omMNdz) and based on how they define middle class, you are actually above that.

Depending on the cost of living where you are, you might be in the upper half of middle class, not so good in Manhattan where the cost of living is 216% of the average.
