    Hello Night_Wolf,

If you change the partition type it will erase all of your data, so I recommend you to make a backup before doing that.

To change from GPT to MBR please follow these steps:

    1. Open command prompt in administrator mode and type diskpart.

    2. Then type list disk. Make note of the disk number you want to delete.

    3. At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.

    4. After that, type clean.

Note:Running the clean command will delete all partitions or volumes on the disk.

    5. After wiping all type convert mbr.

Once you've done all this it would very hard to recover the files, so be sure you've made your copies.

    Hope this helps.
