When a girl texts you "Hey we should grab coffee sometime next week!"?

So I know this girl that goes to my college who I met through a mutual friend. The only time we ever talk is when I see her in the library and we talk for a couple of minutes at most.

One day she saw me while I was working at my store and then texts me later that day saying "hey it was nice seeing you earlier, we should grab coffee sometime next week"

Is that a way of her asking me out? or is there any other meaning behind this?

That is a PLAYERS tactic. Usually works. Got your attention didn't she? Your response should be SMOOTHER. "Can't next week, really really busy. I have time right now, wanna meet for a quick bite?"

If you didn't respond like this or right away, don't worry about it. It takes PRACTICE and a bunch of MESS UPS to get good.

Here are some others YOU COULD TRY ON HER:

TO GET A DATE, without having to ask: Tell her you know someone that wants to go on a date with her. She'll want to know WHO. Take her by the hand to wherever there is a reflection and standing next to her say "Him" (pointing at your reflection)----- OR

INVITATIONS and ASKING for a Date are the same thing, but an invitation is easier to offer, rather than ask for a date. Writing a note and handing it to her or having someone deliver it to her, will be okay.

Most invitations are in WRITTEN FORM. (add ph# so now She has it)

Tell her where you will be on a certain day and at a certain time.

Let her know she is welcome to join you if she has time.

EXAMPLE: "Hi. I'm going to be at the park by the pond on Saturday at 2:30pm. You're welcome to join me if you have time.

I will probably be bored, just feeding the ducks".

EXAMPLE: "I'm going for ice cream after school at (location),

you can join me if you're not busy... My Treat"

YOU WON'T HAVE TO FEEL EMBARRASSED if she declines.

It was just an invitation, NO BIG DEAL.

HOW TO BE WITH SOMEONE; ONE ON ONE

Make wager (bet) with the person you want to spend time with.

Lose that bet to them INTENTIONALLY.

The wager should be something that puts you together alone and

    away from everyone you know.

Make the wager something you can afford and non threatening

    or too suggestive.

(an ice cream cone, a shake, a coffee, washing a car)

EXAMPLE: "I'll bet you an ICE CREAM SUNDAE, I can say

the alphabet backwards faster than you."

Then LOSE the bet and take her for an ice cream sundae.

    (enjoy your Date)

She likes you, go for that coffee date! But don't call it a date infront of her, as she might be put off by it.. Just be like " sure, name a time and place I'll be there ;) " or something

That's a great sign man. She is basically interested in you and wants to get to know you more. GO for it.

well, she at least likes you enough to want to hang out with just you so. put yourself in her shoes. would you ask out a girl for coffee if you didn't like her?

She is most likely interested in you. Its usually the opposite way around where the guy asks the girl bit she's confident obviously haha.
