Okay so I go back to school in about 2 weeks and I'm taking chemistry and algebra 2 for the first time (as a new sophomore because some freshman had it). I've heard those classes are really hard and that you need to be good at math for chemistry (which I'm not) but im good in algebra 1. could you tell me about your sophomore year and wat I should know/do/study these 2 weeks to be ready please help.

Chemistry and algebra 2 can be real jerks when you don't respect them. It is true that being good at math will benefit you in Chemistry, however it isn't mandatory.
For Algebra 2, I recommend practicing outside of the mandatory class work. If your teacher doesn't require you to complete the homework, I recommend that you do because you'll remember the skills to the math. A great place to get math help is KhanAcademy. There are also free online tutors if you know where to look.
For Chemistry, math is used a lot but if you remember the rules to balancing equations, mole ratios and etc you'll do great. What I recommend is break each process into smaller forms. Like for converting mole ratios, you can use dimensional analysis. This is an easy way to convert from grams to moles and vise-versa. You should also practice this a lot. KhanAcademy also works well for this.
If you start to get lost, contact your teacher!!! Do this as soon as you are getting a little confused.
