Did I have an orgasm or not?

The addition of a partner can make your orgasms less intense, since female orgasms are fussy buggers. It does sound like your hit your mark despite it being less intense. To increase your pleasure with your partner, literally show him how it's done! Make a sexy little game of it and see if that helps! And don't be afraid to communicate what feels good and what feels mind-blowing. They won't get better if they don't know what to do!
