1. Exploit voters' fears by demonizing a group of people.
2. Exploit the same group of people you demonize.
It states very clearly in the article from Fortune:
according to the Washington Post, many of the workers who have been toiling on the site of the future Trump International Hotel are from Mexico and other Latin American countries, and a number arrived in the United States illegally. Some admittedly to be undocumented, even as they worked on the Trump hotel.

Where does it clearly state the the illegal immigrants are employed by any of Trump's companies? Say you hire a landscape company and a painting contractor to work at your house. If one of them uses an illegal immigrant, are you responsible? Apparently you and a couple of other airheads here would say you were.
