For customer service. Shopping online question
1. A customer has an online coupon code that is expired. She is buying a lot of items. Do you let her use the coupon. Why or why not.

I would inform her that her coupon has expired, but if she still wants to use her coupon then I would call the manager and ask if the manager would be willing to honor the coupon for her.
If it's possible then make an exception for her, but let her know in the future her coupons must be valid.
If you let her use an expired coupon then you may have to do it again or for other customers if they know what's going on. The store may end up losing money over expired coupons.

Has the code recently expired? Is she a repeat customer? Are there current deals available that offer similar discounts? If the answer to any of those is yes, I'd honor the old coupon.
