Why do some ******* Christians think atheists are agents of satan?

I like to separate atheists from anti-theists. Most atheists are generally good, decent people and not agents of darkness. Anti-theists, however, can make no such claim. Consider the following:

Let's really simplify the dynamic. God is good; Satan is evil. Satan fights against everything that God stands for, because that's just what evil does. Anything that goes against God will be a tool of the Devil, no matter how remote the connection. Consider a light in the darkness. Anything that draws you toward the light is good. Anything that stops that progress is bad. So you don't push people fully into the darkness, you just have them go off in a tangent. You're still stopping the progression toward the light and therefore serving the darkness, albeit unknowingly.

So then, if atheists (or anti-theists more specifically) choose to go against God, then they are necessarily serving the Devil. They don't CHOOSE to serve the devil, they don't even believe the devil exists, but that's doesn't mean that they aren't helping him with his dirty work, nonetheless. There will, of course, be varying levels of aid given to the darkness by such individuals. Maybe they just encourage stagnation, or a halt in the progress toward the light. Maybe they have someone moving in circles around. Maybe they encourage a tangential path that seems equal originally, but ends up leading further into darkness (if you're unfamiliar with trigonometry, then just ignore this example because I have no pictures to show to make this easier), maybe they convince people that the light itself is actually evil and they should all abandon it and find some nice dark corner of the room to while away their lives.

Depending on how far into they're willing to go will determine the effect of the evil influence on them and their work. Creatures of darkness despise the light. Fight the light long enough, and you might become a creature of darkness yourself. As such, you would become like unto a demon or maybe possessed by a demon (since your countenance and their own are so similar anyway, I doubt you would even notice it). How can we tell if you are a creature of darkness, or under the influence of a "demon"? If you do their work and act like them, then it doesn't really matter if you are a demon, are under the influence of a demon, or if you are just acting for yourself. It is all the same and it is all really, really bad.

Once again, I do not believe that all atheists are this way. I believe that there are plenty of good atheists in this world who would draw people unto the light, even without knowing the source of it. And there are Christians, or other theists, who are likely to be agents of darkness themselves. Just being a member of either group does not say what their place is on the spectrum of light and darkness.

You don't have to believe any of this, and I'm sure you won't, but this is an explanation behind the behavior you inquired about as best as I could explain it. Even if you don't believe in God, use your imagination and think about. Look at the original premise and say to yourself, if that was true, would the logic follow? If this was the logic used, would that explain the behaviors that I see? If so, then you have your answer. If not, then it may require a bit more contemplation to understand (I may not have explained it sufficiently)

If a Christian acted/treated an Atheists the same way as I've seen some Atheists treat Christian... I say both are agents of the devil.

One I know told me he thinks Mormons and JWs are working for Satan. He refused to comment on Islam, probably because he didn't have the balls to give his honest opinion to a non extremist Muslim's face...

Cause ATHEISTS are not "agents" of GOD.. And, you can only be WITH or AGAINST...

Most atheists, like most Christians, are sad grey little people with boring lives. Christians believe that they have a friend called Jesus who is a nice guy and atheists are convinced, against all evidence, of their own intellectual superiority. Sad really.

They have to think of something to bash atheists. They pretend that they know that Christians have the are supreme - but surely no-one can be that stupid?

I don't think that, I just think anyone who isn't for God is very vulnerable to the Devils tricks and schemes.. and can easily be used by him.

Christians are aware of the enemies schemes, and have the holy spirit to guide us

They have such limited capacity for intelligent thought they can only imagine you are for god or satan. Actual thinking is beyond them.

Satan is the embodiment of evil. Evil is the absence of God. God-denying trolls are by definition agents of Satan. The horns, red fur and cloven hooves give you away.
