How to i politely stop my friend from talking about her Religion all the time?

My religious friends do it all the time to make sure I know much they love religion and god. They will bring it up 12 times in a 5 minutes conversation, just in case I forgot they believed and I didn't. Yet, I never bring up being atheist, I don't need to.

Just smack her upside the head, that's what I do.

Get a water pistol

and give her a squirt

(aim for her nose)

every time she mentions religion.

It is more polite than telling her

to shut up every time.

Don't forget to smile.

And don't explain.

She'll figure it out,

pretty quickly.

Maybe it would be easier to just find a new friend

You could just say that you would prefer it if she didn't talk about her religion so often. Make sure that she knows that you respect her and her beliefs but since they collide with yours, you would prefer not to stir up an argument.

Tell them: "every time you brig it up you make my position more adamantly opposed as truth does not require pressuring to comprehend and all good and real changes come from timely realization and reflection"

I don't know if you can stop her if this is the way she is.

Maybe try changing the subject.

If she doesn't respond to your requests, maybe leave her alone for a while...

Maybe she will get the message...

It' up to you to decide if you are in a relationship that works for you...

IMHO

Tell her to stop. She is not your friend if she continues after you ask her to stop.

Say, I am an Atheist and it should be enough to stop them.

Make sure she knows that she has to change who she is in order to be your friend.
