How to prepare a pineapple?

I need to prepare my pineapple for the zombie apocalypse, I've been trying to train it to shoot magical shrek lasers at zombies, but nothing's working, any tips?

    cut all the outside skin and the top of the pineapple off. then slice the pineapple horizontally into circles. if the pineapple is ripe you don't need to remove the core. cut the circles into chunks and store in the refrigerator several days or leave at room temperature in a covered container. the pineapple will soon develop alcoholically and you can let the blighters eat it to get drunk and incapable!

    All wrong! they are grenades! Pineapple= grenade. You have to throw them at the zombies.
