notebook suddenly finds that my Win7 copy is not genuine?
This morning the Toshiba notebook I bought and have been using for 4 years suddenly goes to a black screen during bootup with very small letters at the bottom that say the copy of Win7 is not genuine. I have the windows key for that machine but how do I give that to this computer????

This is a common problem with Windows 7 and one that has made Microsoft extremely unpopular. Here's how to fix it (even if it's not genuine!)
1. Click on start menu.
2.Type cmd in search field.
3.Right click on cmd file and click on Run as Administrator.It is must to run command prompt with administrator privileges.
4. Type SLMGR -REARM (SLMGR is Windows software licensing management tool. REARM command will reset the licensing status of machine) and press enter.
5. Now you will see a confirmation window, click on OK.
6. Restart your PC.
