Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Question?

How did Renesmee show Bella her first memory of her if Bella is a shield and immune to everyone s powers? Does her immunity only protect her from bad powers that might hurt her?

Renesmee's power is the inverted of her parents. She can show thoughts instead of read thoughts and as Bella can keep everyone out, Renesmee can infiltrate anyone's mind. Bella asks this question later in the book, and that's the answer that (I think) Carlisle gives her.

I have thought about that as well. I think it would either be protection from harmful powers or possibly because Renesmee is essentially part of Bella (DNA/blood) and therefore can't cause harm. Hope this helps!

It's probably just the fact that it's her daughter. Stephanie Meyer had a lot of things happen that don't make much. For example, the vampires blood didn't flow, therefore Edward couldn't have had a ***** when they had sex. So he was either just limp during it or she did not plan for that.
