How can I show my dogs some attention?
I live In a house with 5 dogs and it's just a three bedroom home 1 bathroom living room kitchen dining room basement. My mom has 3 jobs so she barely gets any break from working I feel bad though. But I never walk my dogs or rarely see them anymore and they LIVE with me. They stay in the basement ALL DAY and the other 2 are in their cages all day they are trained so they can go outside to use the bathroom. I asked my mom can we give them away to a better home cause we don't even mess with them they just living with us we feed them like no but just don't give them attention. She said no but I think it's for the best I love them to because all of the memory's I've had with them which are very sweet. But idk if I should show them all attention or just leave it like how it is.

It's about time you logged off of the computer and spent some one on one time with the family dogs.
What is stopping you from giving the dogs some attention and taking them out of their crates when you get home? The dogs are housebroken, so let them be loose in the house when you are home, and start treating them like members of the family.
Your mother has to work three jobs to try to keep a roof over your head and meals on the table. It is the least you can do, is to try to help out with the dogs for her. Take them (one or two at a time) out for walks, play with them in the backyard. Spend time teaching them tricks, or just hang out on the living room floor with the group of them, watch bad movies and share your popcorn with them. Of course, the dogs could all use a good grooming, too. When was the last time each dog was brushed? There is a lot you could be doing to help with the basic needs of these dogs, and to make their lives better.
Dogs want to "Be" with you. Locking them in crates in a basement all day and all night is cruel. Not only do they get no attention from your family, being locked away from the rest of the home, they can't even play with each other ... since they are crated.
You can make a HUGE difference in your dog's lives.
But you have to get off of the computer and un-cage these dogs to do it.

Poor dogs. You are right to be concerned and she should rehome or do something. Dogs cannot live all day in crates and basements.

Sounds like your mom is keeping them just for keep sakes. Dogs are happier with human companionship. It's not fair to leave them in cages and in the basement all day and never play with them.
