Does it take a long time to be accepted into a nursing program?

You'd have to talk with the people at your college. There are basically two types of BSN programs. Direct admission programs have students apply directly to the nursing program as a freshman. Other programs allows students to apply to the university as undeclared majors and then, when they have completed their nursing prerequisite courses, they student may apply to acceptance into the nursing program that is usually 2 years. Both end up as BSN.
