I can't understand why do Christians support Zionists that say Jesus was a fraud and slander Mary?

It is sort of interesting because you are right, true Christians who read the Old and New Testament do support Israel and the Jewish plight and we wish them well, while a good percent of them distrust us and do not care that much for us.

Here is my take on this. First, today Christians can read directly from the Bible (unlike during the medieval period). We know that Christ, Mary and all of the disciples where pious Jews. We also study the Old Testament of the Jews. We know the Major Characters and the prophets of the old testament were Jews. We know that the message of the Old Testament was for for Jews. We know that GOD chose them to carry the message. We know that God wants us to respect the Jews as his first chosen children.

We also understand that some Jews are still mad at the persecution they received at the hand of some Christians during the period before we could read the Bible (middle ages). We feel badly about that. There is nothing in the new testament that tells us to not care for Jews and everything in the Bible tells us to care for them.

Also, some Jews think we only care for them and want to reestablish Jerusalem for the second coming. They think we are selfish and fake for that. Also, they think that Jesus was a fake and turned on the Jewish faith and so they believe that he did what God said was wrong in the old testament, so we understand their point of view that we have twisted the Jewish faith.

To any Jew reading this, at my Baptist Church, we never even talk about this, We like you for just being you. Personally I respect many of you for your brilliance and contributions to civilization, noble prizes and things like that.

Israel is our friend, the only one in the Middle East which even considers the same set of rules we do. They are small and surrounded with those who hate them with every moment they are alive. We have promised to stand with them if they need us. We cannot go back on our word.

These are false accusations that are usually leveled at Jews, not Zionists. So, in other words, when you say "Zionists" you really mean "Jews" (i.e. anti-Semitism).

It would be nicer if you were more honest about it though.

They have been brainwashed. They do not pay attention to Jesus book and do not act according to his book like many Muslims that do not act according to the Quran.
