What, spiritually speaking, would you reply to a person whom you did not know who told you that you were worthless?

Update:

A fellow approached me on the street when I was trying to get over the curb with my wheelchair and said Anyone as slow as me did not deserve to live. I am at a loss on how I could emulate Christ in my reply to that. What would you say?

    1Pet 3:8 Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, 3:9 not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.

    Just smile and say "God bless you", then move on and ignore them. Say a prayer for them later asking God to bless them. (A "blessing" from God is often a lot different than most people think.)

    Here's something you need to realize. When someone is like that with strangers, they are even worse with family and friends and thus live in a constant hell hole of their own making.

    Honestly, I think I'd giggle over that. Seriously, someone randomly coming up to me and saying that without knowing a thing about me would crack me up.

    At most I'd say, "Have a good day, hon", and I'd feel sorry for someone who is so miserable in his own life that he goes around saying things like that.

    Nothing. I would walk away, and shake my head.

    Sometimes no response speaks louder than words.

    The Lord says;

    "Bless them that curse you, and pray for them that despitefully use you."

    I wouldn't reply. It doesn't matter. People can say whatever they want.

    I'd say, I don't know you, so why should I care?

    I would as why they believe that their opinion bares some significance in my life!
