Protein - when to have it when working out?

I'm a female and will soon be working out in the gym. I used to but never stuck at it. This time I really want to. I'm already quite slim but have a slight podgy belly I want to sort out so I'll be doing cardio as well as strength training such as lifting, curling and squats etc.

I'm not trying to bulk or be a bodybuilder. Im also going to be bettering my diet. But when I'm at the gym when do I take my protein powder with water? Do I have to do this after workouts or like all the time?

Chances are, additional intake of protein is unnecessary. Most Americans eat way too much protein anyway. You can easily find online calculators that will show you how much protein you need for your age and body type.

Not only would it be hard for you to develop large muscles...It would likely be impossible unless you use steroids or some other extreme tactic. Women are not genetically set up to develop hypertrophied muscles. Certain female athletes who are quite muscular....Well, let's just say it's highly suspicious.

Women who work out properly tend to develop nice, fit-looking bodies.

After your workout, within 30 minutes is best.

You won't bulk unless you really, really try, it's very hard for girls to do so.
