A question for religious: why do you constantly reap the amazing quality of life that science has provided, and then say it's unreliable?

What do ANY of the things you mentioned have to do with the false theory of common descent? Tesla was inspired by the Bible in creating his inventions. Louis Pasteur prayed in the laboratory. Dr. Raymond Vaughn Damadian is a creationist and invented the MRI. Since you are against the things that inspired these people why do you use what they have invented and discovered?

So when scientists believed in spontaneous generation, were we wrong to disbelieve? When they believed in Martian canals, were you ridiculing us for not believing? Scientists once thought that people were born with a blank slate--no predisposed personality characteristics. Did you laugh at us when we refused to believe it? Scientists once swore by something called phrenology. And of course, we were wrong to disbelieve this now discredited concept? So how exactly are we supposed to know that "gosh darn it, this is the absolutely true one that YOU MUST accept?"

By the way, Friday night, I trusted my ACCUWEATHER APP that it was going to rain n 35 minutes. It didn't.

A question for you: Why do you assume that all "religious people" say science is unreliable? You're drunk.

True science is a gift from God. A person can know with certainty He exists if he or she practices the Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus.

As a Christian, not only do I believe the wind and save obey God, but He has a hand in the machine that track them.

I trust my God above the words of humans. It's that simple. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Proverbs 3:5. I trust my "book" and if you don't, that's fine. *I* won't hate people because they believe different things from me. And just for future reference? We don't worship the Bible. We worship God.

Religion has nothing to do with any of that. It's just the person. And I have nothing aganst any of it.

They eat genetically modified food while driving around in cars, listening to satellite radio and they think scientists are either dumb, wrong or in a huge conspiracy.

They ignore the inconvenient.
