Teriyaki rice for dinner tonight, can you help pick my rice?

I have 3 types of rice for my chicken teriyaki with vegetables.

Long grain white rice.

Long grain brown rice.

Brown "Success" (boil in bag) rice.

Arborio rice (risotto type rice, short and creamy though very flavorful)

Basmati rice.

I already know how to cook the rice. I don't know which to make for teriyaki! I did want Jasmine rice but I am not driving tonight. Can anyone help and they can try their best for a 10 point Best Answer victory!

I'd use brown rice but Basmati would be lovely, it's so good. Long grain white is good too.

I make chicken teriyaki often and use brown rice but sometimes I just use quinoa or freekeh because of the lower glycemic index.

I would go for the long white rice, since it's a very saucy dish that isn't too plain. But the long grain brown rice would be a bit healthier, and tastes about the same so, your choice. But there'll be a lot of brown in the dish, and it won't look as nice as the white rice.

Out of all those choices, I'd use long grain white rice or basmati. I'd even consider long grain brown rice. Arborio is a no go. I've never liked rice out of a bag (microwave or boil type).

If you want something that absorbs sauce better, avoid brown rice.
