I didn't realize this was my professional profile and therefore, an inappropriate picture (I was about 19 or so). Unfortunately, I can't find the pictures in my profile to make Private. My friend that posted them share a lot of things together and I wonder... maybe there's a fast way to clean it up other than going back to summer.

I have 3 types of rice for my chicken teriyaki with vegetables.

Long grain white rice.

Long grain brown rice.

Brown "Success" (boil in bag) rice.

Arborio rice (risotto type rice, short and creamy though very flavorful)

Basmati rice.

I already know how to cook the rice. I don't know which to make for teriyaki! I did want Jasmine rice but I am not driving tonight. Can anyone help and they can try their best for a 10 point Best Answer victory!

It made me wonder if there was a big encyclopedia of unused titles. I heard that's how QEII came up with Cambridge was that (1) it was not used and (2) it suited the new Duchess. I now have so many resulting questions.

A. What are all the "available" titles?

B. What does it mean, that a title is unused or available?

C. Doesn't one get their title Duke or Duchess or Baron or Baroness or Lord or Lady through their ancestry and/or marriage?

D. Isn't it quite meaningless that QEII can just pull a title like that right out of her hat? How does that work?

E. How does the previous Duke and/or Duchess of Cambridge family feel about them either taking away the name or is it an honor?

F. What is this type of study called anyway? This would be the study of names or extinct names or queenly giving of names?

I'm so confused! Surely there are experts out there in whatever this is!

It's perfect IMHO for work. But not for me. I am a green eyed girl and can't wear pink or peach. And obviously the blue for the eye is out. I have similar coloring to Drew Barrymore, pale skin, slightly reddish, and I can wear red and jewel tones.

So how do I pick the right colors for me so I have the natural looking cheek and lip and the right shade of eye? Particularly I love the slightly glossy neutral lip. I don't even know if that's a gloss or a lipstick or what! let alone what color to pick for me.

So I have a pack of tomatoes and the label says "Beefsteak" on them and one's yellow. I go to cut it up, and unlike the others which were red and juicy this one is yellow and really firm. So I'm thinking this is supposed to be red and it's not ripe yet. Where I live we have such terrible tomatoes, I'm a total newb. Any productive help will be noted!

I normally never butt in when it comes to parenting. I don't think she's doing anything wrong per se. I just don't think it's normal that her baby sleep for just 3 hours a night and wake up around the clock. My friend has 2 kids besides her almost year old and she's a zombie.

How could I gently give her some sites to read or something to give her ideas because I have 2 kids and that wasn't normal for me. Without good quality sleep I can barely function or drive. Her son has a wheat allergy, but no known health issues. She combines breast feeding with other foods such as rice cereal, chicken, veggies and fruits.

Mostly what I'd like to suggest is to have her read up on medical journals and advice to help her get sleep by keeping him asleep.

The book is a children's book about two girls who live in an apartment building in New York or its suburbs.

I read the book in the 1970's or early 1980's but, the book in fact seemed to take place maybe in the 50's or 60's.

The older daughter had a snooty friend named Cynthia who had borrowed a blotter but came to return it as a peace gesture (I recall this because I didn't know what that was). The mother in the book had gone to the store and had purchased "peacock blue" curtains (again, I remember because I didn't know what color that was). The mother had said something to another shopper like, "You might have seen them first. lady, but I'm buying them first." and then the mother had bought them and the girls loved the color.

I googled this already and couldn't find it!

I have a 4 year degree and a J.D. but no business training. I have a side business planned and need to work out some marketing and finance business models. I'm interested in boning up on the literature but all I keep finding is investment information. I'm not looking to invest, I'm looking to produce and sell at this point. Thanks.

I enjoy the details of Seinfeld a lot, such as the Drake's Coffee cake, the Jujubes, the Alex Theatre, the details of Jerry's car, and fun things you can see. I have all the seasons now and enjoy watching the reappearing characters such as Puddy and Sue Ellen Mischke, Peterman and Kevin (Bizarro Jerry). I love the crazy intermingling of the plots (like the one where Jerry's power is turned off by Kramer's hot tub heater and Jean-Paul oversleeps for his race). I also like the style of comedy, from broad to sophisticated.

So what show would I like now? I have had a hard time finding something that's not too dramatic. I like Curb Your Enthusiasm ok, but for some reason it lacks the light-hearted stories and there's a tad too much cursing, more on the awkward but less on the fun parts.

I have in the past watched Married... With Children and Three's Company. Also I love the original I Love Lucy.

I normally drink about 1-2 beers or glasses of wine a day at home with my family over dinner and afterwards. I took a week off of drinking or so. Then last week I had 2 martinis on Thursday and on Friday I had 5 beers (microbrew) after dinner in addition to 2 weak choladas before dinner (half beer, half Margarita mix).

Well I didn't even feel that tipsy on Friday after my first 4 beers so I had a fifth beer, but as I chugged that one down, all of the sudden I went from feeling very lightly tipsy to just plain sick. I am confused. I never felt drunk, just went from a tiny bit tipsy to sick on that last beer. To make it worse it was a dark beer so it just sat there on my stomach like a ton of bricks and I got sick because of it.

I slept for 5 hours, then had sips of water the next day but I was worried, even though I was probably dehydrated, that I would upset my stomach with too much water.

Later on, I felt I had abdominal pain just below my belly button on my left hand side. I felt my left abdomen was throbbing! The odd thing was, I think it WAS throbbing because I set the remote on it, and it would lift up and down, showing me that I was indeed correct about throbbing in that region.

My past medical history includes dehydration due to stress which has led to chronic UTI. These have been treated and dealt with. I also am on an IUD and have had a prior condition with ovulation cysts on the ovaries (benign but they swell very large when I ovulate). I also am on medication for mood disorder (divalproic acid, and lorazepam).

Anyway, my question is why does my lower left abdomen feel so odd? It is throbbing, and I have also had some shooting pains also in my abdomen when I twist around in bed. I am naturally concerned it's fatty liver but I wonder if those shooting pains sound like something associated with that. Or maybe it was just indigestion from all those dark ales I drank.

And what were some details about the joke if you recall.

The comic was saying he gets called "Kumar" a lot by white guys and how it wasn't very original just because he's Indian. The comic described how this happened to him recently in L.A.

And the comic said his comeback was to call the guy a rich white guy with a convertible or something like this. I don't really remember what it was but I thought it was the funniest thing and I love a good joke so I'm going to try to get the identity of the comic first and get the show he said it in next.

I have already searched Aziz Ansari but not really even sure that's who said it plus I'm sure there are other Indian comics.

I'm just wondering --and this is a white elephant topic--but they're all made in China. Why? Shouldn't we be supporting the USA more than ever? Everyone is buying these things (and the iPad) and none of them are made in the USA.

Further, yeah it's great that these wonderful engineers and stuff are designing these things but why can't they hire a manufacturer in the USA and let them get built here by people who aren't engineers and who just want to be in a SKILLED technical and/or manufacturing job? We have top notch facilities and we have good labor and environmental laws.

Ok lastly: does anyone know of any SmartPhones and e-Readers which ARE actually made here in the USA because I would buy one just to stick it to who ever company is not hiring US workers so my fellow Americans can pay their US bills with our US incomes. Let them stay in their houses and keep their jobs.

She is on Tramadol and Rimadyl for her ruptured cruciate ligament. Even though the Tramadol is a small pill tablet (the Rimadyl is much bigger), she'll eat around the cheese or treat and leave---you guessed it--one pill on the floor.

However she has no problem with the Rimadyl. I wonder what's going on here, if the Tramadol just is a terrible tasting pill or what. I am running out of ideas to put her pill in and I am afraid she will get used to these treats and not eat (not a terrible thing since she is overweight by about 20% of her body weight, 65 lbs and she is a lab/basset/staffordshire terrier mix and is quite short and fat).

Feeding my dog these pills is going to drive me crazy.

So I have a house we bought 4 years ago and the owner did not take care of it. The owner was whisked off to a home and her son managed the sale as guardian, didn't spend a dime to repair it until it was on the market for over a year when he made minor improvements probably at the begging of his realtor.

One of the "improvements" was that he put in a carpet for the cheapest amount possible. The carpet is horrible, it sheds and it holds every stain known to man. Oh yes, it's a pale beige so you can see everything. Regular length cheap carpet, not marbled or berber, just your basic cheap beige carpet.

Fast forward several years, we never got the money to replace it and we have kids and dogs and the carpet's gotten worse. We have a wonderful cannister Bissel and in the past it's worked its little heart out and gotten the floor so clean.

But this summer I'm doing my Bisseling and it's ridiculous, most of the large stains (spilled soda, deeply embedded mud) are coming out BUT there's a horrible greyish marbling effect in the carpet that appears to be widespread. It appears to be your wear marks not spills or food that seems to be coming out ok. I've been giving it the twice and three times over with the Bissel and these grey marbled stains are not budging. I am using hot tap water with the hose and a hot water solution of the formula (ours is the pet one 2x concentrate) and I'm not sure what's going on.

1) is the carpet just too cheap/old/miserable to be cleaned?

2) am I using the wrong kind of soap?

3) do I need to pretreat it or something? My time is really valuable and I'm not sure how much I can take before I give up.

I have a Fuji Finepix and it uses an XD card. I took some pictures today and got one read and one write error. I scrolled through the pictures wondering how much was on there--I went back a ways looking at pictures, so I know there were some on the card. Thinking the card was full I proceeded to d/l the pics of the camera onto my C:/ drive and was given a "Do you wish to format H:/ drive?" msg.

Aghast, I put the card back into the camera where it worked like 2 minutes before, and lo and behold it no longer works there either saying "Card not initialized." I cleaned the card off since it's dusty where I live, both erasing the gold area and also using alcohol and a q-tip and it just didn't work at all. I just want the pictures--I care nothing about this old camera and XD chip.

Can anyone help me? I do have a wire that I can use somewhere but will that even work if the card's bad?

I am on medication for bipolar disorder (Depokote) and anxiety (Lorazepam). Lately, I have noticed a pattern over my whole life of wanting something, pursuing a while, then getting bored and/or frustrated and not knowing what I want, then just checking out.

Honestly I don't feel bipolar at all, except that a few years ago I felt really confident and refused to listen to anyone telling me I was making bad decisions. Back then, I felt to the point where I was indestructible and no one could get me down and I would just discard their opinion if they gave me any criticism of my abilities or ambition. When I finally crashed, I went to a psychiatrist for help and instead of getting Valium for panic attacks he told me I might be bipolar.

So anyway, for years now I have often had zero motivation when I should have some. I'm educated, smart, and have occasionally held down lucrative jobs. Sometimes, though, I feel as if I should take better care of what I have. There are days when I really don't do anything, just drift through the day waiting for it to end. Also, because I have no motivation, I feel lazy and it would be understandable for others to have no patience with me. That causes me to feel pain inside, like I'm disappointing others and myself.

I see someone professionally but I feel like I'm getting positive affirmation for taking baby steps but I want to see some improvement faster. I went from a full time job four years to a part time job, to no job which is where I saw a psych, so now I again have a part time job again but in a field not in my profession. Yes, it's progress but I can't work in my profession like this the way I feel.

I just wonder if having no motivation and letting my entire day pass by day after day without getting anything done--and feeling painful inside for disappointing myself and others--is that depression and how do I resolve it quicker if my psych says I'm perfectly fine on my meds right now.

This perfume bottle has a sharp corner on it and I accidentally cut myself on it when cleaning. It's bleeding pretty bad. Anyway, since it's lead crystal (Waterford from Macy's) I thought I'd check to see if there is danger for lead entering my bloodstream. I'm thinking no just based on the amount of blood coming out. Last Tetanus shot I had was over 10 years ago :(

I will call the nurse next week. But I just received the results of a hormone screening for my son who is a little overweight. The doctor had wanted to make sure his hormones and liver, etc. were ok. The results were all within normal limits. But I got a handwritten note that he needed 1000 iu Vitamin D.

(1) What are all the possible reasons why she would instruct him to take that, and

(2) What is the MOST likely reason?
