The religious may try many different methods to curb the increase of atheism, but in reality they are the cause of atheism.

True Christians do not get involved in such endeavors. Their commission is the same now as when Jesus gave it. (Matthew 29:19-20)

As the number of atheist grow you will see some religious people try to find ways to stop it. Heck, some of the stuff going on today with the attempts to push pray into schools or stop teaching science could be attempts to prevent people from questioning the ideas of religion. I bet there will be more hateful attacks in the future. Possibly even some terrorist actions right in here in the U.S. of christians against atheists.

Lobbying combined with funding the campaigns of religious tools
