What do you have to thank our lord for today?

We have many Lords in the UK. I m thankful that I haven t had to sit through a debate in the House of Lords or, indeed, one of Andrew Lloyd-Webber s musicals.

I'm also thankful, as an atheist, I don't have some cheap get out clause, like it was the Lord's will or I fell to the temptation of Satan, I can just take responsibility for my own actions.

Your lord might be Satan but my Lord is Christ Jesus. I have him to thank for saving a sinner such as myself. Given the sort of questions you ask on R&S I get a feeling you have no concept of sin and its consequences.

Supreme Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, thank you for keeping the trade routes open in the empire.

Thank you for keeping those filthy rebels at bay.

Chicken Kievs and chips and mushy peas and a nice cuppa rosy and carrot cake... thank you Lord Tesco.

Sunshine, the smell of newly cut grass, the soft breeze, my family, a cup of good coffee, an opportunity to talk with - you :)

Thanks for asking and by that allowing me to reflect on and appreciate what I have.

For actually making there be a good movie about video games. Wreck-It Ralph was awesome.

I woke up, got on my knees, thanked God for another day of life and the ability to pray for those in need.
