I don't think you quite grasp what a "sanctuary city" IS, or that (in fact) you would be SAFER wherever it is YOU live if your local government adopted the same policy.....ALL such a policy does is remove any threat of automatic deportation from any otherwise law-abiding illegal immigrant should they come forward to the Police with evidence of a more SERIOUS crime....if an illegal saw YOU being assaulted, for instance, and came forward to identify your attacker, they would not risk deportation themselves.....WITHOUT such a policy, your attacker would go free....
Are you quite sure that's what you really want?

Sanctuary cities ARE dangerous places and IF their citizens decide to reside there, they must defend themselves like in the old west. You never know who will be a pissed off ILLEGAL with a grudge to settle OR a drunk or drugged up ILLEGAL who has been kicked back out to attack one of your family members.

All cities are dangerous places. If you go to the wrong neighborhood. To be safe in a liberal dominated urban area (city) one should live in a bubble, like the bubble boy, but said bubble must be bullet proof.
