Why is the Atheist animate and spend so much effort to oppose a God they don’t even believe in?

I don’t believe in drinking alcohol, but I don’t oppose people that drink responsibly.

If the Atheist don’t believe in God, why do they even bother opposing what they don’t believe in?

For us to not believe in something - first it has to be real to not believe in it - and we know what every one else reads in the bible - 90% of us were one time a christian - Untill we started to ask - who was standing there with pen and paper in hand to write down all that is said and happening - Each story in the bible is written that way - a live reporter watching and listening to what is going on - and no one around them cares - and the writing tools of the time it was happening are very primitive it takes a full hour to write just two paragraphs - more or less - We athiest now know what the stories in all the bible are - Stories man made up that the public liked and paid for to read - Just like us going to Barnes and Noble to get a new book that is just released

I don't 'oppose god', I barely give a thought to the idea that a creator god exists. It's the god followers I oppose when they start negatively affecting my life.

Keep your god and your religion in your homes and churches and there will be no problem.

Atheists aren't opposed to people like you, they are opposed to the (majority) or theists who DO oppose other people making their own life choices free from religious ideology

Christians don't believe in abortion, but they have no problem using government to force their views on us. IF YOU DON'T LIKE ABORTION, DON'T HAVE ONE.

Christians don't believe in homosexuality, but they have no problem using government to discriminate against them. IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOMOSEXUAL SEX, DON'T HAVE ANY. IF YOU ARE HETEROSEXUAL RATHER THAN BISEXUAL, YOU CAN'T ANYHOW.

Christians don't like the Theory of Evolution but they have no problem trying to use government to make us stupid. The most recent law suit (May 2015 in WV) alleges that evolution is a religion that has been granted special status by the government. Please! IF YOU DON'T LIKE EVOLUTION, DON'T TEACH IT TO YOUR CHILDREN, BUT DON'T TRY TO MAKE MY CHILDREN STUPID JUST BECAUSE YOU ADMIRE STUPID PEOPLE
