Where can I get life advice?
I'm an 18 year old male and am currently not happy with what I have in life. I'm confused on what decisions to make or what to do for the rest of my life. Where is a place I can get advice on life and advice in almost anything? I know some people would suggest church but the way I feel about that is that I feel they have more of a just one way mind as in everything is just go to church and believe in god. I do believe in god but I need advice from people with experience. That's the best way I can word it

Everywhere. Every day you gain experience that you can analyse accept or reject. Whether you believe in an afterlife or not, there is no dress rehearsal for your life so what you do has to be your decision. Listen to as many people as you can, from all walks of life, from the religious to non-religious, the affluent and the effluent. They all have stories to tell and experiences to share. But remember that these are THEIR experiences and what is right for them may not be right for you. Advice is not there to be adhered to, it's there as a guide. You can follow the path or create your own. The destination is the same.

NEVER GO TO THE CHURCH. This is the most important piece of life advice you will ever get. Take it and run. Run like the wind. Also, get a lock pick for when they capture you and try to turn you into a slave.

it depends on what kind of advice your seeking. you have to figure out what your good at and what job you want to work at the rest of your life to earn money to live on. then you plan for any education you need to do that work.

not a church for they only have the one agenda as such. try a more spiritual approach by reading into the Alice A Bailey books.

Going for counseling is really helpful. Find a good one, one that you like. Your college might have a counselor.

don't you think that the folks that attend a church have any knowledge of the world ?? they are the BEST people to speak with because they used to be " of the world " and non have seen that it's better to know God, and to look at the past as the past........ask a youth minister to speak with you
