How would society benefit from: applying Jury Duty wage standards to ALL civil servants? and All legislators? Judges? Law enforcement?

i.e. members of ALL Three branches of government including politicians, judges, ANY law enforcement,

Does it occur to you that the work done by these civil servants might improve?

Update:

So why you would trust your life, property, sacred honor to a jury being paid Jury Duty wages?

Update 2:

Ok if you want to include the celebrities and athletes, but the public trust does not pay them.

Update 3:

You trust your life and health to food service workers, sanitary workers, and physicians. They get far more than Jury Duty wages. Maybe the pay for the those groups should be lowered to reflect that same trust you have in the jury system..

You mean your work would improve if you were paid less? That's a new one on me.

Maybe they pay more for jury duty where you are but here its forty dollars a day, I wouldn't risk my life as a cop for forty a day, I wouldn't put up with the abusive public in a civil servant's job, I would make lot more money in the private sector, if I had the education most of our politicians have so no, it wouldn't improve my work, I'd leave that job.

I can't think of any job where paying people less makes them better workers. In fact the idea is really brainless.

A person goes to work to earn a living, jury duty is not a living. Food service workers don't get much money because they are in minimum wage jobs, and sometimes not even minimum wage covers them. There are some who do things to your food that you don't want to know about. When management shows no respect for their workers, workers aren't going to be respectful towards management, or the customer. When everyone is treated fairly work satisfaction goes up, and so does customer service, you might want to use Costco as a case study.

It5 should be applied to civil servants who are neither civil, nor do they serve the public. I much prefer the Jacksonian spoils system, where people loose their jobs if the candidate does not keep his promises.

By applying the post Bastille Day occupational rules of judicious extremes.

It would guarantee that the quality of government employees would be even worse than it is now. Competent people would work where they can be properly compensated.

I think a better pursuit would be trying to limit the money made by celebrities and athletes.
