Why are cops in USA allowed to kill people?

Police Officers are tasked with diffusing situations where somebody's life is in immediate danger. Sometimes the only way to diffuse the situation is by applying lethal force, e.g. discharging weapon. Sometimes it can be beating someone with a nightstick, or using the TASER. But every time a police officer fires his weapon, they have less than a second to act. Less than a second to think "Is this a good shoot?" "Am I actually going to kill a man?" "Is this really the only way." Hesitating in the split second could get that officer, his/her partner, or a civilian killed. That being said, using a gun should always be the LAST RESORT. A perfect cop is the only that knows every time when or when not to pull his weapon. But police officers sometimes fear for both there lives and the lives of those around then which can lead them to act rashly.

Long story short though; if a cop kills someone, and IA says it's a good shoot, then the victim technically killed himself by forcing the officer to use his firearm. That's why we call is "Suicide by Cop".

Because they want to and know nothing will happen to them for such. Survivor of 3 attempts by American cop to murder me and several other setup's by them that could have got me murdered by cop in America. Just what the Great American cop is today in America. I finally was forced to flee for my life from such as they are in America. Joy Killers or what ever it is. They take pleasure from it for sure.

Cops don't kill someone without reason unless they feel that the suspect is carrying a deadly weapon in which it can harm them. They are here to protect, stop viewing them as evil.

Because there Human and they have Human qualities to.

There not allowed to Murder but they have a right to defend them selves or If civilians are at risk they have the right to take the life of the criminal.

If there is death by cops...MOST of the time its justified.

ex. Ferguson

even civilians are allowed to kill people to defend their lives and the lives of others.

They don't kill people. They kill criminals.

Because they have the right to protect themselves from threatening people.

Rearming tasers is expensive.
