First kiss help?!?

I know this is going to sound pretty pathetic, but I'm a slow mover! So tonight is going to make the 5th date with this girl I really like. She likes me too, and I apologized to her because I feel like I'm moving pretty slow, but she says she respects me for going slow so she can trust me and understand her feelings for me. We are both in college but this is my first time ever being in a relationship this far with a girl. I'm new to all of this and I'm still trying to figure how things work. I just don't know how about going in for a the kiss. After every date I've walked her up to the door and we kinda stand there and say I've had a really good time and kinda look at each other then usually I get pretty nervous and we just hug. I don't know the steps about how to go for the kiss. Any advice would be great! Thanks everyone!

the advice that hitch (played by will smith) gives to kevin james about the first kiss is pretty good advice...he said to move in toward her with and get about 90% there and then hold and wait for her to come in for the finish. if she wants the kiss, she will go that 10% distance to get it.

make it a sweet soft kiss, nothing with tongues or all this passion for the first one. if she deepens it that's fine, but you need to be careful not to push her or make her feel pressured. it is hard to do this first time stuff for everyone...but everyone manages to live through it, so no matter what happens, even if it is awkward as can be, it is not the end of the world or the relationship.
